United States of America, Ohio, Hamilton County, Cincinnati
The house was built in 1840 on 300 acres. In 1920, the house was enlarged, swimming pool added, and landscape improved. Formal gardens were not a part of the landscape. The estate was subdivided from 300 acres; and consisted of ten acres in 1975. In 1975, the pool was rehabilitated with a large terrace, bathhouse and wetbar facilities. "Improvements were made to produce an established appearance, rather than display newness and new materials." (Bentley, 1980)
Person(s) associated with the property include: John Benley Associates (landscape architect, 1975-1986).
