Notes:
The garden has very distinct areas. There is a formal rose garden; the court- yard is paved in pink granite and an elegant tea house. Cast iron fences, hedges of sesanqua, and clipped rows of cherry laurel separate gardens. Walls further screen the swimming pool, hot houses and tools storage building. Sculptured figures and fountains ornament various locations and compliment seasonal bloomings of camellias, gardenias, and azaleas. Tulips planted in rose garden.
