Notes:
A conductor score for "In the beginning God" is also contained in Folder A. Items in this series were not performed at the premiers of "Sacred concert I," "Sacred concert II," or "Sacred concert III." They were apparently associated with subsequent performances of these suites. Handwriting and other details have been reported based on the notes of David Berger, Andrew Homzy, Dr. Theodore Hudson, Walter van de Leur, Wayne Shirley, and Dr. Mark Tucker.

Folder A contains conductor scores. Scores indicate parts for soprano, alto, 2 tenors, baritone, drums, piano.
Folder B contains piano conductor scores and parts. Scores indicate parts for saxes, trumpets, trombones, drums. Parts for 5 reeds - alto 1 (4), alto 2 (4), tenor 1 (4), tenor 2 (4), baritone (4); 4 trumpets - 1 (4), 2 (4), 3 (4), 4 (4); 3 trombones - 1 (4), 2 (4), 3 (4); bass (4); drums (4); piano (2). -- from the Ruth Ellington Collection.
