My ideal is contained in one folder consisting of 1 one page piano conductor score in A Major concert, 1 part in C Major concert, and 14 parts in Ab Major concert -- in ink and pencil -- in unidentified hand (Whaley, other?).
Piano conductor score indicates parts for altos, tenor, baritone, Cat, trumpets, trombones. Part in C Major for piano. Part appears incomplete. Parts in Ab Major for 5 reeds - Otto, Johnny, Jimmy, Skippy, Carney; 4 trumpets - Baker, Taft, Scad, Rex; 3 trombones - Browne, Tricky, Tizol; bass; unidentified treble instrument (guitar?). -- from the Duke Ellington Library.
