Caption: "New York, N.Y. - Lieutenant Alfred Williams, speed champion of the air and winner of both the Pulitzer Trophy and Schneider Cup for the Navy, married Mrs. Florence Hawes Selby of Bainbridge, Georgia, and will resign from the Navy to take up the practice of law. Lieut. Williams established a new world speed record while practicing for the Pulitzer race of 303.2 miles per hour in a Curtiss Racing plane.
