Included is an account book, March 1829-March 1831, of an undetermined person or place (Kent?). It records the sale of general merchandise such as fabric, molasses, rum, tea, corn, nails, flour, whiskey, coffee, and spices to various people. It also records goods delivered, perhaps, as payment for work. Most accounts were recorded in pounds, shillings, and pence.
