Portrait of the Wife of Snyders the Painter, copied from an original by RUBENS, in the possession of Mr. Erving at Rome, which was soon after sold for 444 dollars to an English gentleman. It was previously copied by Camucini and other Roman artists. It is considered as a rare and beautiful example of fresh and brilliant colouring, animation of character and delicacy of shadowing.
