"An allegorical medallion in which morning is represented as a charming cherub standing on a tiny cloud, its gauzy vesture floating gracefully in the breeze, while the resplendent rising sun illumines the sky. This is a beautifully modelled work, refined in conception and dainty to a degree in execution." [See serial 04120490 for companion medallion.]
