"(Fr.) Paris. Pupil of Benouville, Picot and Pils. Medal 3rd cl. 1883. The old cardinal. 17 x 22. The old cardinal is taking an airing in one of the vestibules of the palace. His decrepit form and bowed head are sharply marked against the stalwart friar on whose arm he is leaning, and who is taking a passing glance at the marble group of 'Diana the huntress.' a Dominican monk and one of the secular clergy are in the background."
