"(Germ.) Munich. A flying visit. 28 x 32. A stalwart Tyrolese hunter, in the first flush of manhood, finds interest enough in the comely face of the maiden within to bring him to a halt. His sleeping dog shows he has been here some little time. The alpenstock tells us that dangerous crags are no strangers to him. This painting is drawn and worked out with wonderful care and skill."
