Our Home Artists were all represented by some of their finest productions, among which "A Portrait of Dr. Brown," by G. Gilbert; "A Portrait of Squire Clarke," by C. Kimble; and a crayon head of the late Rev. Dr. Pease, by J.M. Mundy, attracted much notice. [Pp. 20-21; see entries 04110044 and 04110045 for other works noted in this commentary. Only the portrait of Pease appeared in the "Catalogue of the Pictures" section of the catalogue.]
