Copied from an engraving dedicated to Hon. Jonathan Law, Governor of Connecticut, by James Buck: "J. Greenwood del.; Engraved and Printed by T. Johnston. Sold by I. Buck at ye Spectacles in Queen street, Boston." No Date. This appears to have been intended for a representation of the first Collegiate edifice at New Haven, erected in 1717-18, (a part of which was pulled down around 1776 and the remnant in 1782,) but it does not correctly show the relative dimensions of the building.
