Aeneas Munson was Born in New Haven, June 24th, 1734, and received his first degree at Yale College, 1753. After the usual preparatory study, he was for a short time a candidate for the ministry; but on account of feeble health, relinquished the profession of divinity for that of medicine. . . . This portrait was taken by Jennys, and was presented to the College by Hon. David Daggett and wife. [P. 141.]
