From the Public School Departments of San Francisco and Oakland. Three hundred and fifty of these pictures were drawn by the young lady pupils of the Denman, Broadway, Rincon and Cosmopolitan Grammar Schools. The time devoted to drawing in each class is half an hour per week, and the number of scholars in a class, 50. [P. 244.]
