These are very life-like representations of the objects referred to, and will repay careful observation. A remarkable thing concerning these pictures is that they were painted by Mrs. E. Blanche, a lady aged 71 years, residing at 759 Howard street, who teaches this peculiar method; also, wax-work. [P. 202.]
