A group of ten figures, the principal of which is 21 inches. He is bound to a post, two soldiers whipping him with bundles of rods, and a third binding up another bundle. On the right are the superintendent and spectators; the subject Matthew xxvii. 26. It is copied on wood from Devoes. See the same subject treated very similarly by Rubens, 3 Manuel du Museum 501. [P. 7.]
