"Showing the approach of the Brooklyn Bridge on the New York side, looking toward New York. Evening, after a rain. On the extreme left is the steeple of St. Paul's; further over are the twin towers of temple court, the post-office dome, the tribune building and tower, and the steeple of the city hall. The top of the Harper building shows just over the rail of the bridge, where it crosses over Pearl Street." [P. 16.]
