[P. 80; illustration depicts a female artist in Victorian dress attempting to cajole the child model into a better humour. The model has his back turned towards the viewer and is holding a cross in one hand and has his face buried in the other arm. The setting is the interior of an artist's studio. In the lower left hand corner is a signature and the date "84"]
