"This is a close study of the room and fireplace where John Howard payne wrote his popular song 'Home, Sweet Home.' The fireplace is kept in the same condition as when he lived there. The grouping is ideal. The old woman telling the story is like an old character that still haunts the place. She is supposed to be telling the history of the old house, and the scenes it has witnessed." [P. 10.]
