Five Busts, in Plaster, and several cameos, (sculpture)
King, J. C.
Appears in exhibition catalog as entry no. 771
Mr. King is an artist of much merit; there is a poetic feeling about his female heads, especially, which ought to bring him patronage as well as honor. The Cameos are profile likenesses, admirable for their accuracy, of well known individuals; they were intended for brooches, and are beautifully cut. Silver Medal. [P. 94.]
