One of those graceful, poetic female heads, for which this artist is so justly celebrated. This is a brunette, with a blooming complexion, large, lustrous, dark eyes, regular features and glossy black hair, which is partly concealed by a hood; the head is slightly inclined forward, in the attitude of one walking quickly.
