(After Le Duc,) Eberlein. A jovial fellow on the floor has pulled a young woman in his lap, who, with a half serious expression is extending her hand for assistance to a soldier and an old woman, who are looking on enjoying her embarrassment; behind this group is seated a third soldier asleep, and another is huddled up on some bundles of straw; two more, who complete the party, are conversing by the chimney. Copied for the present owner, from the original in the Goettingen Gallery. [P. 10.]
