T.S. Cooper, A.R.A. Two cows, a white and yellow, and a red one, are tranquilly dozing through the early day in an open meadow; on the left is a pool of water, bordered by rushes, and in the distance clumps of trees, showing their tops through the rising mist. This artist ranks as the first of the cattle painters of England. [P. 8.]
