"The survivors of a shipwreck are on a rude raft in the wide ocean. Three figures compose the group: a man who raises his arm as a signal of distress to the life-boat in the distance, and the woman and child half-supported by the waves at his feet." This picture has been chromo-lithographed, and is widely popular. [P. 4.]
