This is a quite contented looking young girl absorbed with her book; her cheek resting on her right hand, and her dimpled elbow supported by the arm of her chair. She is represented as a fair brunette, with dark hair simply arranged, a white dress and blue scarf compose her modest costume. [P. 4.]
