An exceedingly rare and valuable engraving of a very remarkable picture; the artist, at the time he painted it, being only 22 years of age, and, though it contained nearly 700 figures as large as life, it was finished in ten weeks; nor did it bear any marks of haste, it being, both in composition and coloring, a work of high merit. Painted by Sir Robert Ker Porter; engraved by John Vendramini. [P. 15; the words "ten weeks" appear in italics in the catalogue.]
