Portrait of Madame Duclos, a celebrated Actress of the French Theatre, (painting)
Appears in exhibition catalog as entry no. 143
This picture is an excellent specimen of the celebrated master. The lights and shade are well managed and full of harmony--the expression good and natural; the drapery easy, and the flesh color delicate and beautiful, especially that of the hands. [P. 10.]
