60. THE HOLY FAMILY. Annibale Caracci, b. 1560, d. 1609. Loaned by Mr. George Walker, of Springfield, Mass. This picture, which was painted at Parma when Annibale Caracci studied to imitate Corregio, was bought at Bologna from the Signori Conti by Niccolo Farlotti. It was brought to this country about forty years ago. [P. 10; exhibited under heading: "Pictures Loaned to the Museum Expressly for This Exhibition, by Different Persons."]
