The Cathedral of Maulbronn, a portion of which is seen in this picture, has recently been restored by the German Government, who made a very large appropriation of money for the purpose. It is supposed to be the scene of "Faust," and a staircase within it is still known as the "Devil's Staircase." [P. 2.]
