E.J. MUYBRIDGE. Photographs of Central America. Illustrating its scenery and the industrial pursuits of its inabitants. For judicious selection of subjects, artistic taste and skillful manipulation, this artist has for many years stood at the head of his profession. An award was obtained by him at the Vienna exhibition, though in competition with the most celebrated photographers of all nations, for his exquisite landscape illustrations. These last productions of his camera surpass all his previous efforts, and their examination renders it difficult to believe, that with our present knowledge and taste, photography can make much further progress towards absolute perfection.
