The group of the "Wrestlers," the original of which is in Florence, is attributed to Cephisodotus, of Athens, the reputed father of Praxiteles. It is remarkable for its powerful and accurate representation of bodies in motion, and for the graceful lines of the entangled limbs. [P. 11; exhibited under heading: "Catalogue of Casts."]
