"The Exile's Return," and the "Joys and Sorrows of Spring," by T.E. ROSENTHAL, develop many of the best elements of Painting, and are fruitful of promise of a successful career to the young Artist, especially the former of these two. To these paintings, your Jurors heartily recommend the award of the First Premium as the most worthy in the whole exhibition. Awarded a Gold Medal.
