"A Portrait of James Linen," and a miniature likeness of Prof. Mapes, of New York. These are works more than merely creditable to the artist. The miniature has been scarcely surpassed in the Atlantic States for delicacy of handling, force of character and expression, and exquisiteness of finish. A Certificate of Merit.
