In addition to these water-color paintings, Mr. Goddard exhibits five original pencil drawings from nature, taken in Tuolomne County. The first of these represents the dam of the Hydraulic Ditch Company, on the North Fork of the Tuolomne River. The foliage of the spruce, fir and Pine, is here done very truly to nature.
