Appears in exhibition catalog as entry no. [not numbered]
Drawings in pastel. There are only two entries, by Eugene Gerault, of St. Louis, one of them a male and the other a female head. The latter is the best, and is, we believe, the picture that took the premium last year. The subject is a lady's face, maternal and lovely, old-fashioned in the close fitting cap and the arrangement of the hair. [P. 75; see entry 02580047 for other work noted in this commentary.]
