Among the specimens of sculpture two excellent pieces of work are an urn filled with flowers, and a group of two female forms and a cross, entitled "The Dying Girl." It is worked out with striking correctness, a pathos being imparted to the attitude and features of no ordinary skill. They are both by H.O. Wilson. [P. 82; exhibited under heading: "SCULPTURE." See entry 02570084 for other work noted in this commentary.]
