A bunch of grapes in water-colors, entered by Mr. F.O. Day, and painted, we believe, by Mr. Chase, is a little piece of true art, but with a bluish light on the upper berries of the cluster somewhat too bright for nature. [P. 81.] Fruit.--First premium, diploma and $10, awarded to Will. M. Chase, St. Louis. [P. 88; exhibited under heading: "PAINTINGS IN WATER-COLORS, ORIGINAL."]
