"The Summer Shower," by Schampheleer. A level green landscape, with dark-gray rain-clouds gathering, while a breeze has sprung up and becomes visible under the exquisite touch which has wrought out this most charming picture. It is in Pettes & Leathe's collection and is one of the best landscapes in the hall. [P. 76.] Landscape.--Second premium, $20, to a picture by De Schampeleer, exhibited by Pettes & Leathe, St. Louis.
