"Missionary Labor." A large painting representing, as we are credibly informed, St. Francis administering the consolations of religion to a dying colored woman. There are four forms depicted--the good evangelist, the dying woman, a weeping child, and another female. Nothing very striking in this picture. [P. 76.]
