For the best and largest collection of Oil Paintings by one exhibitor, Pettes & Leathe, of St. Louis, were decreed the first premium, $100. The collection which the enterprise of Pettes & Leathe gave for exhibition at the St. Louis Fair was very fine, and afforded a most delightful field for thoughtful examination.
