The following are the awards for original paintings in water colors: For the best Landscape, Miss Edith Adcock, of Sparta, Ill., obtained the first premium, a diploma and $10. It was a pleasing picture, and evinced decided genius. The forms of the animals were painted with fidelity and correct coloring. [P. 99.]
