For the best Bust, in marble, clay, or plaster, original, of life size, Missouri made, P.G. Perran, of St. Louis, was awarded the first premium, a diploma and $20. The same gentleman also received the second premium, $10. These busts showed fine artistic finish, and did much credit to the genius of the artist. [P. 96.]
