Architectural Drawing.--The architectural drawing of the Lindell Hotel, a palatial structure now in the course of erection, was exhibited in competition for premium offered on this occasion. It was finely executed, giving a fine idea of this massive hotel, which will soon be an ornament, and suitable to the requirements of the Great Western Metropolis, and to it was awarded the first premium. The second premium, Medal, was awarded to THOMAS W. BRADY, St. Louis. [P. 132; see entry 02510207 for other work noted in this commentary.]
