Head, life size, in oil.--The first premium, Diploma and ten dollars, was awarded to W. CROGSWELL, St. Louis. The painting was a likeness of Charles Wimer, and was almost a living and breathing "fac simile" of that accomplished artist. The second premium was awarded to W.J. HINCHY.
