Bust in Clay, Plaster, or Terra Cotta, original and life size, (Missouri made).--There were two entries under this head and they both received premiums. To PETER CRUMMEN, St. Louis, was awarded the first premium, Grand Silver Medal, to a magnificent bust of Boyle the artist, which was much admired; and the second premium, a Medal, to WM. CLARK, of Centerville, Ill. [P. 129; see entry 02510164 for other work noted in this commentary.]
