There were a large number of Portraits on exhibition; many of them of our best known citizens, and by our most prominent artists. Among them were the portraits of Col. O'Fallon, Mr. Wiggins, Dr. Anderson, and Mr. McPherson, by Conant; the portraits of Mr. and Mrs. Courtney and children by De Franca, and quite a number also by Boyle.
