DESIGN FOR ST. LOUIS CITY HALL.--Mr. Wm. Rumboldt, architect of St. Louis, No. 9 Post Office Building, exhibited his design for a City Hall, which was accepted last year. Should our Council carry this magnificent design into execution, St. Louis will possess one of the finest City Halls in the Union, and one which will be a great ornament to the city. It is the Composite or Italian style of architecture, and worthily vindicates Mr. Rumboldt's reputation as an architect. [P. 105.]
