LANDSCAPE IN OIL. 1st Premium, Diploma and $20; 2d Premium, Medal. A Landscape in Oil Painting was also exhibited by Miss V.J. Sullivan of St. Louis; the subject was rural. Several female figures are reclining in a green field, who seem to be enjoying the abandon and want of restraint in country life. [P. 99; the word "abandon" appears in italics in the catalogue.]
