ALTO RELIEVO IN MARBLE, &c. 1st Premium, Diploma and $25; 2d Premium, Medal. Mr. J.C. Wilson of St. Louis entered a production of Charles Bullitt of Cincinnati; it was a life size of a Sleeping Child and arrested one's attention. The position of the child was natural and graceful, and was executed with much nicety. The effect was pleasing in the highest degree, and the first premium was readily accorded to it by the Awarding Committee. [P. 97.]
