STATUETTE IN CLAY, PLASTER, OR TERRA COTTA. Original. 1st Premium, Diploma and $10. 2d Premium, Medal. Mr. James W. MacDonald entered a Statuette of DANIEL WEBSTER, executed by Ball of Boston. This work is a spirited likeness of the great "Expounder of the Constitution," and has been often copied. It obtained the first premium. [P. 97.]
